Federal Riding Data

Also available is a table with the estimated cost to communities, broken down by federal electoral district, of declining unemployment insurance coverage. It shows the money lost between 1993 and 2001 as increasingly fewer of the dollars paid by workers for unemployment insurance coverage found their way back in the form of benefits when people were unemployed.

All of these fact sheets represent Canadian Labour Congress computations based on Statistics Canada Labour Force Survey and Employment Insurance data.
